South Africa has gained victory in its quest to boost agricultural exports to the BRICS groups of nations. China has reduced import tariffs on South Africa’s prized Rooibos tea by 80% effective from January 1, 2024. “Rooibos is reflectinging high quality, it’s one of those products which is also perceived to be much healthier and u think that we  would likely see the volume out of South Africa going to China increasing. It will stimulate production with South Africa and increase from the 20000 tones that was produced in 2023”.
