The 9th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) will take place in Riyadh from October 27 to 30, 2025. This global event, held under the theme “The Key to Prosperity,” will bring together more than 7,500 decision-makers, investors, and innovators. At the heart of the discussions will be contemporary challenges such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, and geopolitics. For Africa, it will serve as a crucial opportunity to strengthen its position within the landscape of major global transformations.
Since its inception in 2017, the Future Investment Initiative (FII) has established itself as one of the world’s leading forums for global investment often referred to as the “Davos of the Desert.” In 2025, Riyadh once again hosts this influential platform under the theme “The Key to Prosperity,” marking a pivotal moment for the global economy. Scheduled for October 27–30, the event will explore how value creation is being redefined amid geopolitical tensions, the energy transition, and rapid technological advancement.
We have prepared numerous plenary sessions, conclaves, and a wide range of side meetings that will take place across various venues. It is worth noting that around twenty Heads of State will be attending for the first time an unprecedented number, as the previous record stood at just three. This is excellent news and a clear reflection of the event’s growing success.

Over the years, the Future Investment Initiative (FII) has evolved into a major catalyst for global economic transformation. Across its eight editions, the conference has generated more than 128 billion dollars in investment agreements, covering key sectors such as technology, clean energy, healthcare, education, and sustainable infrastructure.
At the launch of the Future Investment Initiative in 2017, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince provided a clear definition: the forum must serve as a platform to understand investment flows by sector and by geographic region. That value proposition remains just as relevant today. The FII is a meeting place for visionaries who are also doers — individuals who not only dream but take concrete action. Above all, the FII is a call to action. Far from being limited to intellectual discussions, our goal is to leave Riyadh with tangible solutions and measurable actions that foster real and visible progress.
