Sudan: RSF Paramilitary Leader Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo Sentenced to Death in Absentia

A court in Port Sudan has sentenced RSF leader Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, widely known as Hemedti, to death in absentia, along with 15 other senior members of the paramilitary group. They were convicted of war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide and attacks against civilians in West Darfur. Sudanese authorities have requested their arrest and extradition through Interpol, pending a review of the case by the Supreme Court.
