Algeria: Legislative election turnout stands at 21.24%

The Constitutional Court has announced the final results of the July 2, 2026 legislative elections, marked by low voter turnout. Participation stood at 21.24% nationwide and 10.75% among Algerians abroad. The FLN won the most seats with 91, followed by the RND with 74 and the El Moustakbal Front with 56. As no party secured an absolute majority, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune retains the power to appoint the Prime Minister.
