The former Central African warlord Abdoulaye Miskine has been sentenced to 15 years in prison by the N’Djamena Criminal Court, with mitigating circumstances. Prosecuted notably for insurgency, murder, kidnapping, unlawful confinement and rape, he must also pay 30 million CFA francs to each of the victims’ families. His three co-defendants were each sentenced to 10 years in prison.
