Thirteen online scam centers operated by Chinese nationals were dismantled in Madagascar as part of an operation involving Malagasy, Chinese and US authorities. Nearly 500 scammers were arrested across several countries, including around 100 in Madagascar, while 160 Chinese nationals convicted on the island are to be transferred to China to serve their sentences.
