Gabon signed, on September 24, 2026, in New York, the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons and the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime, on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly. Through this dual accession, Libreville seeks to strengthen its commitment to multilateralism, international cooperation, and the protection of populations against nuclear and digital threats.
