Mozambique: Government projects 9.5% economic growth in 2029 (AIM)

The Mozambican government projects economic growth of 9.5% in 2029, up from 0.6% expected in 2026, driven notably by the resumption of major gas projects in Cabo Delgado. According to the Finance Ministry, inflation is expected to gradually decline to 5.5%, while public debt would fall to 67.1% of GDP by 2029.
