Djibouti’s President and current Chairperson of IGAD, Ismail Omar Guelleh, has called on South Sudanese leaders to prioritize dialogue and respect the transitional roadmap leading to elections in December 2026. During a virtual African Union summit, he called for a clear roadmap and a consensus-based political process.
