The Zambezi Region has recorded 33,349 malaria cases since the beginning of 2026, compared with 25,716 during the same period in 2025, with 21 deaths reported. Governor Dorothy Kabula has urged residents to facilitate the spraying of homes to strengthen efforts to combat the disease.
