Africa – AIF 2025 : the Marketplace at the Heart of Investments in Raba

On this second day in Rabat, the Africa Investment Forum shifts its center of gravity toward the Marketplace the space where investors, entrepreneurs and institutions meet directly to move their projects forward.

On this second day, exchanges at the Africa Investment Forum take on a new dimension.
Beyond the panels and major presentations, it is truly within the Marketplace that most discussions unfold.
A large, open and dynamic space where executives, investors, investment funds and project developers intersect.

At the very heart of the AIF, business cards are exchanged, conversations follow one another, and it is often over a coffee or a small pastry that first agreements take shape and financial alliances begin to form.

“The Marketplace is the place where transactions are concluded. We are trying to attract as much international and global capital as possible into Africa. And the Marketplace was designed as a space where one can access these capital providers, as well as the specialists who advise on these transactions. We have met investors from all over the world — Japanese, Chinese, Middle Eastern, American and of course European — all looking to carry out operations on the continent, mainly in the infrastructure sector. And we are very pleased with the turnout.”

Monica Shupikai Simmons, Head of Capital and Corporate Finance, RMB – Zimbabwe

Thanks to a diverse international participation, the Marketplace concentrates the majority of investment dynamics.

“The Marketplace is an opportunity for companies to meet investors. This year is truly exceptional: we find major investors, major international banks, and sometimes large investment funds. For us, it is a chance to present our projects and meet actors who are genuinely interested.”

Edouard Oulai, Chief Financial Officer, Société Ivoirienne de Raffinage – Côte d’Ivoire

For three days, this space becomes a real engine of activity: project presentations, business meetings, technical consultations and structuring sessions.

The shared objective: accelerating the shift from intention to investment, transforming Africa’s needs into sustainable economic opportunities.

In Rabat, the AIF Marketplace stands out as the strategic space where ideas take shape and investments become reality.
