After four days of meetings in Baku, the 2026 Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group concluded with a series of financial commitments and new partnerships. More than 4,400 participants from 78 countries took part in 32 high-level meetings. In total, 67 agreements worth US$6 billion were signed, while US$2.8 billion in new financing was approved.
After four days of discussions under the theme “Regional Integration for Sustainable Prosperity,” the 2026 Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group concluded in Baku, Azerbaijan. The event brought together more than 4,400 participants from 78 countries and featured 32 high-level meetings focused on trade, energy, climate, food security, and digital transformation.

A total of 67 agreements worth US$6 billion were signed during the meetings, while US$2.8 billion in new financing was approved for nine development projects across several member countries. The 14th Private Sector Forum brought together more than 1,400 participants from 60 countries, resulting in 32 agreements and over 250 business-to-business and public-private meetings.
“Also, this year in the Private Sector Forum, for the fourth consecutive year, we held our Private Sector Awards, with winners honoured during the opening ceremony. Nearly 32 agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed during the Forum, including five agreements exchanged with Azerbaijani partners during the opening ceremony.“

The Group’s affiliated institutions also reported strong results in 2025. ICIEC insured US$17.7 billion in operations, supporting more than 6,000 SMEs and 90,000 jobs, while ICD approved US$555 million in financing for 2,381 businesses. The IsDB Group now turns to implementing its 2026–2035 Strategic Framework. The next Annual Meetings will be held in 2027 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
