« With the creation of more than 10,000 additional jobs in 2023, the reform of the start-up sector could still create additional jobs in 2024, especially for young people, especially for the creation of industrial wealth. »

The meeting, which assessed the report on the activities carried out by the provincial governments in 2023, concluded that 80,856 jobs had been created in the field of commerce. According to the Minister of Industry and Trade, Rui Mingêns de Oliveira, this substantial increase in employment demonstrates the effectiveness of the policies and initiatives implemented by the Ministry to stimulate economic growth and encourage the country’s industrial and commercial development.

« A very important trick that could be copied by other countries and create new jobs in the artificial intelligence sector and in mastering industrial technology. So Angola is an innovator, and the results are clear to see: thousands of jobs have been created, and more could be created in the years to come”.
