A massive crowd filled the esplanade of the Omnisport Stadium in Yaoundé on Saturday, September 27. Thousands of CDU militants and supporters, coming from all corners of Cameroon, gathered to give massive support to Tomaino Ndam Njoya, candidate of the Cameroon Democratic Union (CDU), who officially launched her campaign for the October 12, 2025 presidential election. During this launch, she presented her program in detail, focusing on social justice and economic modernization.
The esplanade of the Omnisport Stadium in Yaoundé was buzzing on Saturday, September 27. Drums, songs, and dances set the rhythm for the gathering of the Cameroon Democratic union (CDU) militants.The crowd warmly cheered their candidate, the only woman running in the presidential race.

Tomaino also outlined her societal program, emphasizing public administration reform, the fight against corruption, economic modernization, and the empowerment of youth and women
“ The societal project of the Cameroon Democratic union envisions a responsible and human-centered market economy. It is essential to respect the men and women that you are. Taxes must be reformed. Enterprises, including small and medium-sized businesses, must be supported. Women must be supported, and so must the youth. There should be a dialogue between the private and public sectors to improve the state of affairs and to reform this economy ”

This launch places CDU and its candidate at the center of the presidential campaign. Tomaino Ndam Njoya called on Cameroonians to collect their voter cards and vote massively on October 12, while affirming that her efforts aim to secure the elections and build a fair and prosperous Cameroon.
