In the Central African Republic, 106 former fighters of the Patriotic Movement for the Central African Republic (MPC) have been disarmed and demobilized in the Ouham prefecture during an operation led by the National Disarmament Program, with support from MINUSCA. Authorities say the initiative helps reduce violence and strengthen stability. Over the past seven months, 842 former members of armed groups have joined the socio-economic reintegration program.
