Chadian authorities have displayed 247 military-grade and homemade weapons seized from civilians during disarmament operations in the Moyen-Chari province. The announcement was made during a visit by Armed Forces Minister Issaka Malloua Djamouss to Sarh, where he assessed the security situation and praised the efforts of national forces, supported by the Chad–Central African Republic Joint Force, to strengthen security.
