The REHMA project (Strengthening Education to Improve Human Capital Outcomes) was launched in the Comoros on April 24, 2026, with a budget of $24 million over three years. This major initiative aims to improve the quality of primary education and reduce educational disparities. It seeks to address challenges such as low learning outcomes, regional imbalances, and inadequate infrastructure, while focusing on strengthening students’ foundational skills, training teachers, and adopting learner-centered teaching approaches.
