In 2025, Côte d’Ivoire recorded 10,747 cases of gender-based violence, including 841 rapes, according to the statistical yearbook of the Ministry of Women, Family and Children. More than 517,000 people were reached through awareness campaigns, with a significant proportion of women and children among the victims. The report also highlights nationwide efforts in support services and prevention.
