Côte d’Ivoire : Professor Mamadou Samba elected Vice-Chair of the WHO Executive Board

The Director-General of Health and Public Hygiene in Côte d’Ivoire, Professor Mamadou Samba, was elected Vice-Chair of the Executive Board of the World Health Organization on 25 May 2026 in Geneva, following the 79th World Health Assembly. The appointment comes after the participation of the Ivorian delegation led by Health Minister Pierre Dimba.
