Décryptage – Steven Gray OBE, Head of West and Central Africa, UK Export Finance – Scotland : « Since we started this engagement, we have been able to break down the perceptions of the markets and get people to network and understand the true realities of markets »

Over the past few years, the UK–Francophone West and Central Africa Trade and Investment Forum has become one of the continent’s most strategic business platforms, gathering hundreds of delegates, government officials, and investors from both sides. This forum has already generated over 2 billion US dollars in trade and investment opportunities, creating momentum for new deals in infrastructure, renewable energy, agriculture, and technology. At the core of this dynamic is UK Export Finance, the British government’s export credit agency, whose mission is to enable UK and African businesses to trade and invest with confidence. To help us understand the UK’s long-term vision for Francophone Africa, and to explore how these investments can translate into inclusive growth, we welcome Mr. Steven Gray OBE, Head of West and Central Africa at UK Export Finance.
