Two lawmakers have introduced a bill aimed at modernizing the legal framework governing firearms and ammunition in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The proposed legislation would strengthen controls on their possession, set a minimum age of 25 for permits, and establish a computerized national registry to improve traceability.
