Congolese authorities have once again suspended commercial flights to and from Bunia, just days after air traffic resumed, as part of efforts to contain the Ebola outbreak. The measure does not apply to humanitarian flights or those involved in the health response, but it has surprised many travelers given that screening and control measures were already in place at the airport. No date has been announced for the resumption of commercial air services.
