The Democratic Republic of the Congo has recorded 506 Ebola-related deaths out of a total of 1,561 confirmed cases, according to health authorities. The outbreak, which has affected three provinces and 36 health zones, continues to spread with more than 300 new cases reported each week, while clinical trials of potential treatments have been launched in Ituri Province.
