The Provincial Youth Council of Ituri in the Democratic Republic of the Congo called on Friday, April 10, 2026, on young people and communities in the Mambasa territory to support peace initiatives and efforts to protect civilian populations against the persistent threat posed by the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF). The organization is also advocating for stronger cooperation between the Armed Forces of the DRC (FARDC) and United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, stressing that their collaboration remains essential for stabilizing the area.
