This edition of Femina receives Doris Mpoumou, AU Representative, Plan International, AU Liaison Office – Congo. With over 20 years of experience in advocacy, policy analysis, and coalition building on issues as diverse as child marriage, gender equality, violence against women and girls, global governance, peace and security, and sexual and reproductive health and rights, she has also led the international advocacy portfolio for International Planned Parenthood Western Hemisphere in New York where she helped shape, among others, the gender equality, violence against women and girls and the sexual and reproductive health and rights community’s recommendations in the post-2015 process.
