Residents are also calling on the Accra Metropolitan Assembly and the Ministry of Works and Housing to prioritize flood control infrastructure in the area, which they say has been prone to flooding for years. Sunday’s floods follow similar incidents across parts of Accra, renewing concerns about the capital’s poor drainage systems and disaster preparedness.
