Madagascar has recorded 2,652 confirmed mpox cases since the virus was detected in December 2025, including 15 deaths, according to the Ministry of Public Health. The country is strengthening its response through screening, targeted vaccination, and a new batch of 30,000 vaccine doses for the most exposed populations.
