Madagascar has expressed its willingness to continue military cooperation with Russia, mainly focused on training the armed forces and exchanging expertise on weapons systems, largely of Russian origin. According to the Minister of the Armed Forces, the partnership continues notably through training programmes and support from Russian instructors, with 127 Malagasy soldiers recently having benefited from such training.
