Authorities have authorized the resumption of humanitarian flights in the northern part of the country following a suspension due to security concerns. The operation, led notably by the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), will help restore the delivery of food supplies, medicines, and humanitarian personnel to hard-to-reach areas such as Gao and Tombouctou, despite ongoing restrictions.
