The Nigerian Army has commissioned more than 8,000 newly trained soldiers from the Osogbo Training Centre to strengthen operations against terrorism, banditry and kidnapping. The deployment is part of a broader plan to recruit 28,000 additional personnel to enhance the military’s operational capacity in addressing the country’s security challenges.
