Togo and Russia seek to expand their cooperation to the mining, energy, agriculture, transport and technology sectors, following their first intergovernmental joint commission held in Lomé from September 29 to October 1, 2026. The two countries also plan to strengthen scientific and academic exchanges, skills transfer and investment, with several draft agreements currently being finalized.
