Libya’s main political institutions have adopted a roadmap providing for simultaneous presidential and legislative elections by 17 February 2027. The agreement, reached between Aguila Saleh Issa, Mohamed al-Menfi and Mohammed Takala, aims to finalize the constitutional and legal framework for the vote, unify state institutions, and strengthen national sovereignty.
