A landslide occurred overnight from Saturday to Sunday at the Dar-es-Salam landfill in Conakry, burying several homes under tonnes of waste. The provisional death toll stands at at least 31 people. Rescue teams are continuing their search in an area that remains unstable, while families are still awaiting news of their loved ones.
