A mission tasked with verifying the ceasefire between the Congolese army and the M23 was deployed on Monday in Minembwe, South Kivu. It brings together representatives from both sides and observers from the Great Lakes region, with support from the United Nations. The first mission comes as Kinshasa and the M23 accuse each other of violating the ceasefire.
