Ghana has completed the repatriation of nearly 1,900 of its nationals living in South Africa following a surge in xenophobic violence. The final group of 41 Ghanaians arrived in Accra, bringing to an end an operation launched in May 2026. Four deaths were also recorded as part of the operation.
