Uganda : More than 154,000 children at risk of acute malnutrition in Karamoja (IPC)

More than 154,000 children aged 6 to 59 months are affected or at risk of acute malnutrition in Karamoja, northeastern Uganda, between August 2026 and February 2027, according to the IPC. Nearly 39,000 of them are suffering from severe acute malnutrition, in a region facing worsening food insecurity due to climate shocks and fragile health conditions.
