Congo and Mozambique signed a cooperation agreement on hydrocarbons on October 7 in Brazzaville, as part of around ten agreements concluded during President Daniel Chapo’s visit. Brazzaville aims to reach oil production of 500,000 barrels per day by 2030, while Maputo plans to attract up to $60 billion in gas investments.
