After two days of intense discussions in Lomé, the UK – Francophone Africa Trade and Investment Forum closed its doors on November 13, 2025, with strong announcements and a shared vision: building sustainable economic bridges between the two regions.
The 4th edition of the UK – Francophone West and Central Africa Trade and Investment Forum concluded on November 13, 2025, in Lomé after two days of intense discussions under the theme “Success Breeds Success.” More than 600 delegates from around ten countries participated in this event, a symbol of strengthened economic partnerships and mutual trust between the United Kingdom and Francophone Africa.
This partnership must truly be strengthened so that together we can build exemplary cooperation. Cooperation that others will look up to. Thank you very much for these two days.
Victoire Tomégah-Dogbé, Prime Minister of Togo
Since its launch in 2022, the Forum has generated over 2 billion dollars in trade and investment. This edition also hosted the second annual Francophone Africa Excellence Awards ceremony, recognizing ten categories of leaders, companies, and institutions for their contribution to economic development and innovation across the continent.
Let this not be just another forum. After this event, there must be real commitments from the States, but also from the private sector regarding everything that is planned in the work agenda.
Aldah Mavoungou, Participant
The award, as I mentioned earlier, is recognition, recognition of a vision, and recognition of the meticulous work carried out by the entire ASKY team, from management to staff.
Francis Attiogbé, Human Resources Director, ASKY Airlines
At the conclusion of the forum, participants praised the shared vision of more inclusive and forward-looking cooperation. The UK – Francophone West and Central Africa Trade and Investment Forum now stands as a strategic platform shaping a competitive connected Francophone Africa that is open to global opportunities.
