Kenya: High Court requires parliamentary oversight of PPPs involving the state

In Kenya, the High Court has ruled that three provisions of the Public-Private Partnerships Act are unconstitutional because they excluded Parliament from approving projects involving public finances. Parliament has six months to amend the law, notably to strengthen oversight of projects creating expenditure, guarantees or debt for the state.
