The Regional Youth Parliament of the Indian Ocean region, meeting at the National Assembly, has adopted two resolutions on maritime safety and the future of young people in the region. The first aims to strengthen information sharing on freight and passengers, as well as cooperation with security and customs services in the fight against organized crime and terrorism. The second focuses on the socio-economic integration, education, and entrepreneurship of young people in the Indian Ocean region.
