Morocco : Air transport agreement signed with Nigeria

Morocco and Nigeria signed a revised Bilateral Air Services Agreement (BASA) on April 15, 2026, in Marrakech, on the sidelines of the Global Implementation Support Symposium. The document, initialed by Nigerian Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo, redefines the framework governing air links between Morocco and Nigeria. The agreement aims to enhance connectivity, expand operational opportunities for airlines, and strengthen economic exchanges. It also incorporates requirements related to safety, security, and environmental sustainability, in line with international standards.
