The CENI has scheduled the overhaul of the electoral register from late June 2026 to April 2027, ahead of the constitutional referendum planned for June 2027 and the presidential election announced for October 2027. The timetable is part of the transition roadmap led by Michaël Randrianirina following the October 2025 coup in Madagascar.
