The Head of State, Paul Biya, winner of the October 12, 2025 election with 53.66% of the vote, has been sworn in as President of the Republic on November 6, 2025, at the National Assembly headquarters, in the presence of numerous dignitaries.
Leading Cameroon for another seven years, the new President took the oath of office before assuming his duties, solemnly pledging to “respect and defend the Constitution, guarantee the sovereignty and integrity of the national territory, and exercise his powers in the supreme interest of the nation.
The swearing-in ceremony is not merely a formal act; it symbolizes the continuity of the State and the elected President’s responsibility toward all Cameroonians.
We congratulate him and he has to take into account the sufferings of the people and implement strict and strong measures to improve their living condition because this is a major major issue that nobody can deny.
